ABOUT WSI

Think clearly.
Decide thoughtfully.

WSI advances scientific literacy, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue across the wellness community.

01 / OUR STORY

Why WSI exists.

WSI grew from a simple need: health information is everywhere, but the skills to evaluate it take practice. Scientific research, commercial claims, and public excitement often move at different speeds.

WSI helps people understand scientific concepts, evaluate evidence and reasoning, recognize uncertainty, and make decisions consistent with their own values and circumstances.

05 / PRINCIPLES

Different views. Common standards.

People can disagree strongly while treating one another with dignity. WSI welcomes diverse perspectives and judges claims by evidence and reasoning, not affiliation. Inclusion does not imply endorsement of every claim, product, or position held by a participant, advisor, contributor, or sponsor.

WSI does not recommend specific wellness products. WSI sponsorships are disclosed and do not determine educational conclusions.

06 / QUESTIONS

Frequently asked.

Why include people with opposing views?

Good-faith disagreement can uncover assumptions and sharpen questions. It does not mean every claim has equal evidentiary support.

Does WSI endorse everyone involved?

No. A listing describes a specific contribution or role. We assess claims individually using the same standards for everyone.
